He admits exclusively to CHOW that he was specifically
sought out by the "Top Chef" folks and
didn't have to go through the open casting call.

I went on a small loopy tirade on Shamu's site about this until she pointed out to me that TC says they "look" for the best contestants. I just didn't realize that they scouted chefs as well as took submissions. I guess we can't fault them for that, can we?
I sure will miss Tre. : (
I think that the judges have rocks in their fucking heads. Just what are you people looking for? There's no fucking way that Tre should have been eliminated from the show. Brian or CJ or that white girl that can't dice onions, any of them should have been eliminated not TRE. In the 2nd season Sam should have won and in the 1st season LeAnn should have won. You people HAVE NO TASTE.
