Why should she "fix" it anon 6:07 am? What gives you or anyone else the right to say that someone has a "flaw"? A lot of people consider their scars to be a badge of honor, they are survivors and are not ashamed of who they are. I applaud Padma's decision to not hide her scar instead of giving in to societies demands for a perfect "flawless" image. You go girl!
I agree, there's no reason to fix that. She's beautiful on the inside and out and she's proving that by not hiding something that she has no control over. I have a 5 inch scar down the middle of my chest from open-heart surgery and i've had people stare, ask why i haven't gotten it "fixed" etc., etc. and i'm appalled every time some stranger thinks it's their right to decide how i look
I applaud Padma for not being ashamed and showing it...there's absolutely nothing wrong with that and it shows how beautiful she really is.
As a 36yo female who survived skin cancer, but still has a couple of considerable scars on her face, I applaud Padma. More people need to realized that s--- happens and real life is not all about air brushing...cheers!

Maybe now that's she got lots of work she can afford to have that thing fixed.
