Valerie was not one of my choices for the office pool win, but she definitely got thrown under the bus by her team. Those mushrooms looked worse than the blinis, but I certainly can't judge which appetizer tasted worse.
Oh, she did not get backstabbed. (I refuse to use that ridiculous phrase.)Antonia was put on the spot, forced to pick between someone who made something that shouldn't have been made with bad ingredients and someone who made two dishes, one of which she screwed up and one of which she didn't. I'd hire Stephanie over Valerie, too. And when did Stephanie say anything about her food? You can't be backstabbed by two people if one of them said nothing.Plus blaming Antonia for the blini idea (and I'll be watching the show again tonight and keeping an eye out for that in particular)... "Well, you told me to do something stupid, so it's your fault I did it even though I should've known better."
