Happy New Year everyone. If you are preparing something special to eat tonight, share it with us in the comment area.There is NO new top chef tonight. Season 5 will continue next Wednesday night.
But we will have the chat room open tonight if you wish to spend the evening with one another.

Dinner will be at home: Pan seared scallops, fresh aspargus and a sourdough baguette in front of a nicely crackling fire with a good movie. Doesn't get much better than that at our house (but we are old...:)). Looking forward to reading your blog and the comments in the New Year.

Dinner will be: mixed green salad with shallots,cherries,walnuts and gorgonzola. Fillet Mignon with a pomegranate-peppercorn demi-glaze
portabellas and sea salt baker. For my vegetarian friends: Salmon with a yuzu-ginger glaze,jasmine rice and asparagus. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
