Top Chef Masters - Final... And The Winner Is

What a night and what a final. To be asked to prepare the dinner of your life and then have each of the dishes display a different part of your life. WOW. What a thrill it was to watch this episode, with these three outstanding chefs and to then let them cook from the heart.

These Chefs showed the true meaning of a leader with class and style. That would be why they all made it to the top three and they all agreed that each of them should be the winner. In fact, we loved that they even talked about splitting the money. The have a great respect for one another.

But we know one had to have the title... and we are thrilled that

Chef Rick Bayless is the first Top Master Chef and his charity Frontera Farmer Foundation
will receive the $100,000.00
Our thanks to these three chefs and all the chefs who competed on Top Chef Masters. It was a thrilling season and we are hoping they do it again. Bravo... you did this one right!

I totally agree about TC Masters - I really enjoyed this series, and wish they'd use the star rating system in the regular Top Chef series. I would have been happy with either Bayless or Hubert winning, but was thrilled to see Bayless get it. It was a real contrast to see the focus on interpersonal dynamics on Top Chef Las Vegas versus the focus on food in Top Chef Masters.
